The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Warriors Group
Since the launch of the fourth campaign, new Dungeon Master the talented storyteller has kept fans guessing with extensive world-building, a diverse cast of heroes, and a thrilling plot showcasing angels, demons, and sinister influences growing in power within the urban setting.
Note: Spoilers for the third episode of this adventure are included.
The Combat-Oriented Party Unveiled
Episode 3 finished on a dramatic pause and presented the first table of characters who will split off from the main group to embark on their independent quest, distinct from the remaining groups.
This warrior group consists of the determined fighter (brought to life by the voice actor), the agile character (Laura), Tyranny (Whitney), Wicander (Sam), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie).
Why Split the Party?
Considering a large ensemble, it was clear from the beginning that keeping everyone at the same party would be impossible.
This explains, the first four episodes of the new season serve as an Prelude, weaving together the individual narratives before splitting into three distinct groups: Soldiers, Schemers, and Explorers.
The Nature of the Combat Party
As described by the DM, the Soldiers table is for participants who enjoy a traditionally charged battle-oriented gameplay experience where diplomatic options are few and far between.
Upon first impression, characters like the hesitant healer Wicander Halovar might seem out of place, but the developments of the third episode show why these five characters are best suited for the Soldiers table.
Why They Must Go
First, the group has a clear idea where to proceed after a violent initial meeting with The Crow Keepers.
Casimir of Thjazi—whose death initiated the campaign’s events—exploited the foes for his own means, invading Thjazi’s hideout, striking the character, and taking all the powerful objects to sell off.
The traitor then paid off his liabilities and fled to a Halovar stronghouse in Gormalay, Timmony, beyond the city, with Cyd Pridesire pursuing him.
Personal Motivations
Secondly, each member has a specific drive to exit the urban setting:
- Thimble, as the close ally and closest confidant, desires retribution.
- The knowledgeable figure is familiar with the region and warns that it is a hostile place.
- Tyranny and The cleric, having defied his relatives’ demands to kill the fighter and instead rescued him, have no other options.
- But, their reputation as key figures in House Halovar could enable the group enter places they normally couldn’t.
- Additionally, Teor vowed a unbreakable promise to Wicander for his deliverance and will now go with him anywhere.
Pursued by Authorities
Lastly, all of them are hunted by the powers that control Dol-Makjar for a variety of reasons, making staying in the city dangerous:
- Thimble and Kattigan are known criminals.
- The strong figure and The healer defied the influential house and the legion of demons they are partnered with.
- The target is wanted dead by the family.
This means them few options but to travel to Timmony in search of the traitor.

From the latest episode’s post-show segment, we find out that the Soldiers table will not appear next week, leaving the rest of the participants to assemble the Seekers and Schemers groups.
